Senior Marketing Manager
CMR Surgical is revolutionising the future of minimal access surgery with their next-generation surgical robotic system, Versius. They are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager, Launch Excellence to execute the US launch plan, focusing on cross-functional collaboration, KOL onboarding, customer programs, and digital marketing execution to ensure a successful market entry and adoption.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Senior Director to execute the US launch plan, ensuring alignment across all key stakeholders and functions
Develop and enhance the US launch package, including messaging frameworks, campaign assets, and field enablement tools to support a consistent and impactful market entry
Develop and execute launch campaigns, including a comprehensive digital strategy (social media, email, paid media, and web) to drive awareness and engagement
Create sales enablement tools (presentations, playbooks, objection handling guides, and training materials) to support the field team in driving adoption
Support local mobile events and customer validation events, ensuring smooth logistics, impactful content, and alignment with overall launch objectives
Develop customer success programs to support healthcare institutions’ marketing campaigns and promotions (e.g., announcements of system installation, first case, and milestone cases)
Manage timelines, deliverables, and budgets for all launch activities, ensuring flawless execution
Coordinate internal readiness efforts and external launch assets to maintain consistency and compliance
Support identification, onboarding, and engagement of US surgeon and clinical KOLs and HCPs; ensure efficient processes and compliance with AdvaMed and institutional guidelines
Manage logistics for advisory boards, speaking opportunities, peer-to-peer programs, and other HCP activities
Maintain accurate documentation and tracking for all engagements to ensure transparency and regulatory compliance
Plan and execute customer-facing programs and events, including workshops, symposia, and virtual engagements
Manage event logistics, speaker preparation, and post-event follow-up to maximize impact and ROI
Design and deliver VIP customer events by developing compelling content, managing all logistics, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution
Implement digital campaigns across web, social, email, and paid media channels to drive awareness and engagement
Coordinate content creation (videos, case studies, webinars) and monitor campaign performance using analytics tools
Act as the US marketing point of contact for Sales, Clinical Affairs, Market Access, and Regulatory teams to ensure seamless execution
Manage agency partners and vendors for creative, digital, and event support
Qualification
Required
8-10 years of marketing experience in medical devices, surgical robotics, or healthcare
Proven ability to execute complex marketing programs and manage multiple stakeholders
Experience with KOL/HCP engagement, onboarding processes, event planning, and digital marketing campaigns
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage timelines and budgets
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field
A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required
A minimum of 10 years health care experience is required
A minimum of 3 years of marketing leadership experience is required
Experience and successful track record leading product innovation and successful commercialization is required
Strong strategic marketing fundamentals including positioning, claims, advertising judgment, and customer insights is required
Proven track record of developing talent with positive leadership characteristics is required
Strong cross functional leadership, ability to set vision and inspire cross functional team is required
Strong servant leader characteristics and mindset, ability to influence cross-functionally and across regions without direct authority is required
Demonstrated ability to lead marketing agencies and inspire strong output is required
Average 60% domestic travel with occasional international travel required
Preferred
Familiarity with US hospital procurement processes and surgical specialties
Knowledge of FDA guidelines and AdvaMed Code
Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools (Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo)
Prior Medical Robotics marketing experience
Master's degrees in business (or related discipline) are highly preferred
