Responsibilities
Learn and support day-to-day security monitoring by reviewing alerts, logs, and dashboards under guidance
Assist with vulnerability scans, risk reviews, and remediation tracking
Support implementation of security controls, procedures, and documentation
Participate in incident response activities, including investigation support and post-incident documentation
Help maintain asset inventories, access controls, and security records
Contribute to compliance and audit-readiness efforts
Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations teams to reinforce security best practices
Continuously develop cybersecurity knowledge through training, hands-on work, and mentorship
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Foundational understanding of cybersecurity foundational practice areas (networking, operating systems, access control, common threat vectors)
Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, C/C++, JavaScript) and ability to read and understand code
Working knowledge of security tooling across monitoring, vulnerability management, endpoint security, identity and access management (IDP/IAM), and device management
Entry-level cybersecurity certifications or active pursuit of one (e.g., Security+, Network+)
Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach, with accountability for work quality and comfort operating in structured, process-driven environments
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
