New Grad, Entry LevelState of South Carolina is seeking a part-time qualified paralegal or law clerk to provide technical and paralegal services for Midlands Technical College's General Counsel. The successful candidate will provide legal support, draft legal documents, and assist with the Title IX process as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator.

Responsibilities
Provide legal support including drafting legal documents, preparing correspondence, updating calendars, and assisting with Freedom of Information Act responses
Serve as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator and will be cross-trained as a Title IX Advisor and/or Investigator
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma
Experience in providing administrative support for an attorney(s) or a legal office
Preferred
A paralegal degree and/or certificate
Knowledge of personal computers and word processing
Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in interpreting and applying policies and procedures
Knowledge of Title IX, relevant laws and regulations
Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize tasks
Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with the public and co-workers orally and in writing
