Research & Development Manager – Bread & Pastry
LHH is partnering with a global bakery solutions leader to fill the key role of Research & Development Manager – Bread & Pastry. The role involves leading R&D projects, developing new formulations, and driving innovation in clean-label solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Responsibilities
Manage all bread & pastry R&D projects
Develop recipes and product reformulations
Conduct lab runs, plant trials, and consumer tests
Evaluate new ingredients and processes
Maintain documentation and support QA
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Bakery Science, Food Science, or related field
Master Baker or Pastry Chef certification
5+ years bakery formulation & leadership experience
Strong project management and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office; willing to travel
English required
Preferred
Spanish/German a plus
