Datafy is a company focused on providing insights and digital advertising solutions to destination marketing organizations and convention & visitors bureaus. The Director of Business Development will drive revenue by leveraging existing relationships and selling digital advertising and attribution solutions to clients, while supporting destination leaders in making informed marketing decisions.

Responsibilities
Own the Full Sales Cycle
Prospect and engage DMO and CVB decision-makers
Run demos and presentations
Build proposals tied to campaign goals and budgets
Source and submit RFPs
Contribute win/loss feedback for competitive analysis
Act as a Marketing Partner, Not Just a Seller
Learn each destination’s goals
Understand and educate on how data linked to advertising drives better and defensible results
Thought process must be : How can I help the client and their destination?
Represent the Company
Attend tourism and marketing conferences and events
Build strong relationships with destination leaders
Serve as a visible expert in digital destination advertising
What You’ll Sell
Digital Advertising – paid media that reaches travelers at the right moment
Analytics – data that drives the right audiences
Attribution – proves which ads drove visits

Qualification
Required
Proven seller with existing DMO/CVB relationships on the east coast
A sales professional knowledgeable of DMO/CVB client needs, ideally with digital advertising experience
A flexible, kind (no drama tolerated), team player who can adapt in a growth stage SAAS company as we scale
Familiarity with CRM systems, contracting, and results measurement
7+ years in B2B sales
Strong background selling digital advertising or media
Confident selling large ad budgets
Clear communicator who simplifies performance data
Strong presenter to executives and boards
Organized pipeline and strong follow up
Thinks like a marketer, not just a salesperson
Comfortable talking budgets, ROI, and performance
Relationship-driven and consultative
Motivated by growth and impact
Supportive team mate
Preferred
Experience working with DMOs, CVBs, or tourism brands preferred
