Responsibilities
Prepare a high volume of Form 1040 tax returns, including multi-state filings
Handle returns with itemized deductions, Schedule C, Schedule E, and investment income
Identify applicable deductions, credits, and tax‑saving opportunities
Work directly with clients to gather information, clarify tax positions, and explain return results
Stay current on tax law changes and IRS updates
Prepare and calculate quarterly estimated tax payments for individual clients
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience preparing individual tax returns
Maintain clear, well-organized workpapers to support prepared returns
Strong attention to detail and client‑service mindset
Preferred
Familiarity with tax software (Lacerte, Drake, CCH, Aiwyn)
EA/CPA/AFSP credentials a plus
