Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day operations for partners including but not limited to:
Oversee short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD), and life insurance claims utilizing internal systems
Provide support for Paid Family Leave claims across multiple states, ensuring accurate and efficient resolution
Manage and respond to Customer Service Organization inquiries related to claims
Assist in resolution of benefit inquiries/issues within the agreed upon service level agreements (SLAs) with external and internal partners
Liaise with third party partners to resolve claims-related issues for customers
Assist senior team members in building out internal benefit resources (help articles, training decks, etc.)
Develop creative solutions for new issues with assistance from team lead using available resources and systems
Work closely with third party partners to resolve claims related extension requests and issues
Partner with our Customer Service Organization, Product Support Specialists, and Legal teams to improve systems and resolve issues
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar role (operations, claims, insurance or customer service-related field preferred)
Knowledge of Excel or equivalent
Knowledge of Employer Sponsored Benefit Plans
Ability to work as part of a team
Process-driven and technologically savvy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience breaking down complex concepts to core details
Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment

Preferred

SQL knowledge
CLMS certification, or equivalent strongly preferred
