The role involves providing technical guidance, sales assistance, and maintaining strong customer relationships while processing orders and coordinating with various teams.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Process new orders, reorders, and customer issues (primarily via email)
Provide updates, answer questions, and follow up with customers regarding open orders
Support customers with installation, operation, commissioning, and basic troubleshooting of products over the phone
Partner with the Engineering team when technical issues require escalation
Coordinate with Production to release orders, expedite items, monitor parts availability, and ensure timely arrival of purchased components
Collaborate with Inventory and Purchasing to ensure proper allocation and procurement of parts
Review and edit orders accurately for SAP entry; complete all required documentation
Qualification
Required
Customer service and/or sales support experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to understand basic technical concepts
Preferred
Data entry or order‑processing experience
ERP experience (SAP or similar)
