Responsibilities

Work closely with assignment and planning editors to gather assets and ensure footage from the day’s filming is accounted for and delivered to the editors to edit and Storage Area Network (SAN) for cataloging
Retain incoming media and ingest/log all media to edit stations
Occasional SAN support as needed
Maintain a database of archived content from daily filming and editing
Build a stock video library that fulfills the team’s footage needs
Work with editors to manage complete project from initial inquiry to final delivery
A self-starter who can work independently on special projects but has also shown the ability to collaborate seamlessly within the video production departments
Upload video assets to various platforms for review, transcripts, etc. Knowledge of MediaBin, WireDrive, and Global Drive necessary
Able to set up projects in Premiere and possesses light editing skills
Camera operating skills helpful
Maintaining archive procedures, and workflows for audio & video projects
Manage equipment storage room

Act as a liaison between producers, camera operators and editors
Manage all media storage devices, SD cards, P2 cards, Cfast, hard drives and other related media such as audio
Work closely with assignment and planning editors to gather assets and ensure footage from the day's filming is accounted for and delivered to the editors to edit and Storage Area Network (SAN) for cataloging
