Responsibilities
Build and maintain robust partnerships with key stakeholders, including developers and EPC companies, to foster collaboration and drive project acquisition
Lead initiatives to secure project quotes, negotiate Letters of Intent, underwriting, and support the execution of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), ensuring a streamlined process from conception to completion
Stay ahead of industry trends and shifts, providing insights and analysis that inform our market strategy and positioning. Identify emerging opportunities to enhance our competitive edge
Collaborate closely with internal teams to share valuable market intelligence and contribute to developing strategic initiatives that align with our business goals
Monitor, report, and evaluate the success of channel partnerships, implementing strategies for improvement and growth based on performance metrics and market feedback
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or Graduate's degree in a relevant field
A minimum of 2+ years of business development experience working within C&I solar, including experience running a partner channel
An understanding of who the market leaders are within your territory and a previous history of working with multiple developers
In-depth knowledge of the solar energy market, including regulatory policies, incentives, and key players
Preferred
Experience with energy modelling software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope) and Energy Toolbase
Familiarity with renewable energy financing mechanisms (e.g. PPAs, tax equity)
Knowledge of utility rate structures and tariffs
