Responsibilities

Contacting clients, the County, and opposing parties

Responding to program inquiries and referral questions

Scheduling client appointments

Reviewing court dockets for active cases

Conducting background checks and eviction history searches

Researching rental properties and landlord ownership

Conducting intake interviews

Gathering and organizing financial and personal documentation, including tax returns, pay stubs, and benefit statements (Social Security, SNAP, etc.)

Preparing basic budgets of client household expenses

Drafting intake summaries and maintaining case files

Preparing correspondence and drafting legal documents

Delivering and filing documents as needed

Required

Paralegal Certificate or equivalent on-the-job experience required
