Responsibilities

You will have direct interaction with the public by advising and/or guiding them to complete proper documents
Common responsibilities include clerical-based administrative functions; answering phones; processing and/or responding to email inquiries; accepting, recording, and routing materials that come into the department; and filing and retrieving records and documents
Use office software for data entry, document preparation, and email communication
Review and process documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established procedures
Provide courteous customer service by responding to routine inquiries and requests
Organize and prioritize assigned work to meet deadlines and productivity expectations
Work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain professional working relationships
Complete work under regular supervision and seek guidance when necessary

Required

Strong knowledge of basic English and Math
Effective communicator on paper and in person

Preferred

Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver's License may be required for some positions
Shift and weekend work, including nights and holidays
