Operations Project Manager (Fixed- Term)

Responsibilities
Actively manage multiple medium-sized and large-scale projects of varying complexity from beginning to end
Coordinate vendor ecosystems, leading regular vendor syncs while holding external partners accountable for deliverables and maintaining strategic relationships
Take program and portfolio roadmaps and break down the work into actionable workstreams and deliverables
Support capacity management and planning
Support operations by function
Be a change agent and lead transformation management efforts
Facilitate planning, prioritization, and tradeoff discussions
Succinctly communicate to the engineer and product managers, directors, and non-technical business stakeholders about project milestones, issues, risks, and decisions needed
Develop strong partnerships across cross-functional teams and create project artifacts (plans, reports, decks, process maps, dashboards, etc.)
Lead vendor and contract management across multi-vendor ecosystems, coordinating regular syncs, negotiating timeline adjustments and contractual implications, while balancing relationship preservation with firm accountability for deliverables
Make data-driven decisions on timeline adjustments based on external dependencies, resource constraints, and quality metrics
Define short-term strategies for the function and Biz & Strategy Operations Department
Qualification
Required
3 - 5 years of project/program management experience working with Agile and Predictive methodologies, preferably in fast-paced, high-growth environments
High tolerance for ambiguity with the ability to quickly define and execute cross-functional plans and actions with measurable impact
Meticulous attention to accuracy with a rigorous verification approach - you challenge assumptions, fact-check against documentation, and prefer evidence-based communication over speculation
Strong data integrity mindset with systematic documentation practices
Strong planning and problem-solving skills, enabling you to deliver solid business solutions
Ability to interact confidently with senior management leaders and executives to confidently address challenges, handle push-back, and maintain a proactive team-centric approach
Skilled at prioritizing and balancing multiple projects
Understanding of organizational dynamics, proven ability to influence stakeholders with functional and global reach
Experience coordinating multi-vendor ecosystems and managing external partner relationships
Proven ability to hold vendors accountable diplomatically while preserving strategic partnerships
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fully virtual environment, successfully building strong relationships remotely
Excellent written and verbal communication. Adaptive communicator who adjusts style and format based on audience needs (narrative prose for leadership, structured technical formats for engineering, diplomatic firmness for vendors)
Skilled at distilling complex technical information into executive-level summaries without sacrificing accuracy
The ideal candidate has a passion for driving change and motivating teams through results-driven approaches to solving problems
Must be able to interpret and create workflow and process diagrams
Familiarity with Google Suite, Confluence, Miro, Asana, and Jira
Preferred
PMP preferred
Experience defining best practices for business operations / PMO
Startup experience
Certified scrum master (nice to have)
