The Lab Technician is responsible for daily chemical analysis, maintenance, quality testing, and calibration of equipment, along with other laboratory duties.

Responsibilities
Responsible for all pH adjustments
Executes the dumping and replenishing of chemical and tanks
Assist in monitoring waste treatment system
Daily chemical sampling and analysis
Use of statistical data control required for monitoring and improving chemical processes
Maintain inventory of laboratory chemicals/supplies
Maintain organization and cleanliness of laboratory
Inventory and organization of process chemicals, storage areas and Paint
Must be able to operate a forklift (training provided)
Performs other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed
Qualification
Required

Must be able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted
Must be able to maneuver a full drum or barrel of chemical that varies in weight. (est. 500-700lbs)
Must successfully complete respiratory fit testing
Must display a professional appearance and attitude
Interpersonal, self-motivated
Detail and task oriented
Strong math aptitude needed
Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred
High School diploma / GED preferred but not required
