High level project planning, budgeting scheduling, and resource allocation for multiple concurrent projects
Maintain and improve professional long-term relationships with customers & vendors
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and installation to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines and budget constraints
Use SolidWorks for design and development of projects
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and stakeholders. Provide regular updates and address any concerns or issues that arise during project execution
Perform industrial take-offs (Bill of Materials) for material purchasing
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Monitor project progress and performance metrics identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary
Qualification
Required
Minimum Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a degree in a related discipline required
Minimum 5 years of experience working in within waterworks, piping, valves, or mechanical systems sector
Computer proficient, including Microsoft Office products
Proficient with SolidWorks
Strong knowledge of AWWA, ASME, ASTM, ISO, AWS standards and municipal specifications
Good communication, documentation, and leadership skills
Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred
Familiarity with the Water Treatment industry or SFWS company products/services
Experience in budget management and resource planning
6-10 years working within waterworks, piping, valves, or mechanical systems sector
Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
