Responsibilities
Partner with product owners, stakeholders, architects, developers, and (of course!) users to deliver optimal user experience for applications and metric solutions
Conduct, analyze, and organize user research, document user goals, decisions, information needs, tasks, and workflows
Plan, execute, and extract insights for:
User and stakeholder interviews
Personas and Jobs to Be Done (JTBDs)
Usability evaluations and assessments
Storyboards, journey maps, user flows, and wireframes
Design artifacts for communication, specification, and testing
Design solutions; mockup and prototype interactions
A focus on modular reusable design
Write Agile development user stories
Communicate and present work effectively
Support the broader UX team in identifying and implementing UX best practices and accessibility standards
Champion user-centered design and design thinking methodologies
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a User Experience (UX) designer, interaction designer (UI), or similar role
Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design/prototyping tools
An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience
Must be a United States Citizen
Preferred
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
Self-starter with a growth mindset and ability to quickly learn new tools or concepts
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; able to manage ambiguity
Ability to multitask across multiple projects
Comfortable collaborating in a dynamic, distributed team environment
HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Angular, and JavaScript
