Partner (Government Audit and Assurance)

They are seeking an experienced Partner to lead and grow their Government Audit & Assurance practice, focusing on building client relationships and expanding their presence in the government sector.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee government audit and assurance engagements for cities, counties, and special districts
Develop and maintain strong client relationships with municipal and public sector leaders
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, presentations, and strategic outreach
Mentor and develop staff, fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and teamwork
Collaborate with firm leadership to shape strategy, enhance processes, and drive continued expansion in the region
Stay current with GASB, GAAS, and other government audit standards
Qualification
Required
Active CPA license required
10+ years of progressive public accounting experience, with a focus on government audit and assurance
Demonstrated success in business development and client growth
Strong network and established relationships with municipal and public sector organizations in Arizona or the Southwest region
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
Passion for mentoring teams and driving innovation in audit service delivery
