Responsibilities
Create and manage 3D data, technical documentation, drawings, and parts lists based on vehicle change points or external group requests
Perform regulation and certification confirmation activities
Lead communication between design, supplier, and project management teams as needed
Monitor North America field issues and warranty condition for chassis components, including completing root cause investigations as needed
Support benchmarking and study of cost reduction proposals with suppliers and make proposals for implementation
Qualification
Required
Motivated and collaborative engineer
Experience in chassis design for development projects and production vehicles
Ability to create and manage 3D data, technical documentation, drawings, and parts lists
Experience in performing regulation and certification confirmation activities
Ability to lead communication between design, supplier, and project management teams
Experience in monitoring North America field issues and warranty conditions for chassis components
Ability to complete root cause investigations
Experience in supporting benchmarking and studying cost reduction proposals with suppliers
