Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy machine learning models in production
Own ML systems end-to-end: data pipelines, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
Partner with product and engineering to translate business problems into ML solutions
Improve model performance, reliability, and scalability over time
Build experimentation frameworks and define success metrics
Contribute to technical direction and ML architecture decisions
Qualification
Required
0-7 years of experience building and deploying machine learning systems
Strong foundations in machine learning, statistics, and data modeling
Experience with Python and common ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
Experience deploying models into production environments
Strong understanding of data pipelines, feature engineering, and model evaluation
Ability to work in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments
Product-minded engineer who focuses on impact, not just models
Someone who believes they can capture 0.05% of the $500B+ home renovation market
Preferred
Experience with recommendation systems, pricing models, or optimization problems
Experience working with computer vision, NLP, or generative AI
Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
Experience building ML systems from zero to one
Startup or early-stage company experience
