InternGBA Companies is welcoming Civil Engineering students to join us this upcoming summer for an internship in our Transportation market focusing on projects within our Bridge group. Interns will gain hands-on experience and work alongside industry experts while assisting with various engineering tasks.
Transportation
Responsibilities
Assist with design and 3D modeling of bridges
Support quality control processes and follow client design standards
Assist with design calculations and geometric layout
Help prepare plan quantities and cost estimates
Participate in field assignments such as construction inspections
Collaborate with a multi-disciplined design team
Engage in an active learning environment with mentorship from experienced engineers
Qualification
Required
Pursuing BS or MS in Civil Engineering or other related field from accredited program
Finished at least two years of school
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Preferred
Experience with AutoCAD and Excel software is preferred
Experience with transportation and bridge related projects or internships is preferred
2.7 GPA strongly preferred
Involved in campus, community, and other volunteer activities and/ or organization
