Responsibilities
Plan, implement and evaluate the provision of high-quality medical care to children and adolescents in Allergy/Immunology (A/I)
Become an active member of the pediatric allergy/immunology clinical care team, managing routine allergy problems, severe asthma, complex cases, and immunology patients
Participate in, design, and lead interventional clinical trials as principal or co-investigator
Oversee research projects and quality improvement activities
Share inpatient coverage of the consult service with other faculty
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited, four-year medical school
Graduate of an accredited, post-graduate residency program in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine
Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Allergy/Immunology
Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Allergy/Immunology
Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia
BLS or PALS certification required
Current DEA registration
Preferred
Board certification in Pediatrics is preferred, though Internal Medicine certification is acceptable
