Network Operations Center Engineer
Synergy Business Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Network Operations Center Engineer III, a senior-level technical support role responsible for providing advanced engineering assistance across a range of services. This role involves managing complex escalations, leading incident recovery efforts, and maintaining customer network environments to improve service quality and reliability.
Responsibilities
Providing advanced engineering assistance across a range of services
Acting as a critical liaison between customers, NOC teams, and specialized engineering groups
Managing complex escalations
Leading incident recovery efforts
Analyzing chronic network issues
Overseeing third-party vendors and internal resources to restore services swiftly
Maintaining and documenting customer network environments
Ensuring proactive communication
Supporting both customer-facing and internal projects to improve service quality and reliability
Qualification
Required
MUST have exceptional communication skills and white glove service for customers
6+ years in technical or NOC roles
5+ years supporting LAN/WAN, routers, switches, wireless access points, and protocols like DNS, SMTP, SNMP
Hands-on experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise)
Hands-on experience with voice technologies (PBX, VoIP)
Hands-on experience with customer documentation
Occasional travel and after-hours on-call availability are required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications (e.g., CCNP, Fortinet FCP, ITIL)
Strong communication, multitasking, and collaboration skills
