The Spring 2026 Internship on the Lifestyle Team offers hands-on experience in PR, where interns will assist with various tasks across multiple teams, including media list management and creative brainstorming.

Responsibilities
Creating and maintaining comprehensive media lists
Brainstorming new, creative pitches and brand-building opportunities for clients
Track media placements for clients
Assist the team with trend forecasting, competitor media audits, and press hit clips
Support on-site tasks, including media events and editorial sample send-outs
Familiarity with Photoshop, MuckRack, and Google Workspace is a plus
Final individual presentation based on a brand of your choosing
Qualification
Required
Interns are required to be in person at JBC's NYC office on designated in-office days
Must be available Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one other half day each week
Full-day hours: 9:30 am EST - 4:45 pm EST
Friday Hours (Early Closures): 9 am - 2 pm EST
A rising college senior or post-graduate individual looking to kickstart a career in the PR industry
Enthusiastic about all things PR and media relations
Naturally proactive, with outstanding attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills
A people person, skilled at building and nurturing relationships, with proven experience in supportive team management
Ability to both balance many priorities and act resourcefully, all while maintaining a positive attitude
Vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement if hired. Candidates may request an accommodation due to disability, sincerely held religious belief or exception required under applicable law
Overall program duration is based on the semester length
Minimum of 2-3 full days per week at max 19.5 hours without any class interruption
Hours are 9:30 am - 4:45 pm EST (Friday or early closure hours are 9:00 am - 2:00 pm EST)
