Responsibilities

Assists, supports, and facilitates the Manager in the City's fund-raising efforts, initiatives, and activities
Works, collaborates, and engages with City departments and private or non-profit organizations to implement approved fund-raising strategies
Conducts donor research to identify resources and communicates research information to City departments and private or non-profit organizations that provide services to Dallas citizens
Writes, drafts, and edits grant proposals; prepares briefings and periodic reports to communicate goals and status of grant and fund raising activity
Identifies and conducts grant and fundraising training for City departments, private and non-profit organizations
Develops and administers performance measurement system for all City fund raising activities and consistently delivers feedback on performance metrics
Serves as lead worker among work group
Performs any and all other work as needed or assigned

Required

5 years in financial analysis and forecasting, grant management, or other related experience
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Knowledge of fundraising activities, strategies, and methods
Knowledge of City organization and departments
Knowledge of City policies and procedures related to financial management
Knowledge of grant applications and management
Ability to develop performance measurement standards for fundraising efforts
Ability to conduct and perform various related training
Ability to prepare grant proposals and briefings
Communicating effectively verbally and in writing
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
