Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and post orders, maintaining proper weapons handling and required documentation
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, suspicious activity, and disruptive individuals
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or criminal activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site
Complete accurate reports and logs, communicate with client personnel and/or emergency services as needed, and support access control measures such as monitoring entrances and verifying credentials
Qualification
Required
Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree
Have an Armed Guard Card/License
Be 21+ Years of Age
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Participate in industry-specific security training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
