Responsibilities
Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including rack configuration, LAN/WAN connectivity, VLAN segmentation, and VPN tunnels to ensure seamless system integration
Design and maintain complex Systems Integration Labs (SILs), including hardware installation, software patching, and system diagnostics to validate designs
Provide technical support for system-level integration of new products, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software compatibility issues
Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, and compliance audits, to support integration efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and typically 2 or more years of related experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Experience working in multidisciplinary design & development teams
Understanding of requirements development and management, system design, systems integration, technical risk identification, management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment
Preferred
Ability to apply technical principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts
Technical problem solving skills and ability to develop innovative technical solutions
Ability to guide technical designs through development into a final deliverable product
Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment emphasizing rapid prototyping and fielding of capabilities, with minimal supervision
Proven successful experience in project definition, simulation, implementation, lab integration and test
Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US Military
