Responsibilities
Actively prospect for and secure new clients, building a strong pipeline of business through networking, cold calling, and leveraging your professional relationships
Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the local commercial real estate market, including property values, market trends, and economic indicators, to provide expert advice to clients
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients. Provide strategic counsel on real estate decisions that support their business goals, whether they are a tenant or a landlord
Collaborate with marketing and research teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and property marketing materials that effectively position opportunities
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, tenants and other industry professionals
Partner effectively with other Avison Young service lines, such as project management, property management, and capital markets, to provide holistic and integrated client solutions
And of course, other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree is required
Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in retail leasing
A valid and active commercial real estate license in the state of Florida is required
Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and articulate complex real estate and financial concepts
A highly motivated and results-driven individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong commitment to client service
Preferred
Experience with lifestyle and power centers is a plus
