Responsibilities
Enter claim submissions into the claims management system
Monitor and manage claim and notice inboxes
Upload and flag supporting documentation for review by the Claims Examiner team
Enter various types of claim notices (50%, trigger, case management) into the claim system
Identify complex and/or catastrophic claim notices and escalate to leadership as necessary
Refer relevant cases to the Cost Containment team
Maintain thorough reporting and open communication with Supervisor regarding assigned areas of responsibility
Create a working environment where productivity can be sustained and accomplished, and where innovation and personal growth is encouraged and realized
Drive and role model the A&H culture, values and C&F core competencies
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred
3+ years' office experience required; medical claims experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with an aptitude to learn new programs (DY/ESL Office experience preferred)
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and satisfaction
Effective time management and prioritization
Professional accountability
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Strong preference for the candidate to be located in the Phoenix metro area, but open to remote for the right candidate
