Use of Deadly Force Investigations Audit Intern - paid
Washington State Auditor's Office is seeking an intern for the Use of Deadly Force Investigations audit team. The intern will assist in reviewing police investigations to ensure they are objective and will collaborate with various law enforcement agencies to improve investigation processes.

Responsibilities
Reviewing police use of deadly force investigations to help ensure they are conducted objectively and independently
Work with UDFI auditors, the Criminal Justice Training Commission and Washington state law enforcement to improve how use of deadly force investigations are conducted throughout the state
Qualification
Required

Strong communication skills
Preferred
Work experience and/or formal education in a relevant field, such as criminal justice
Work experience and/or formal education in public policy
