Responsibilities
Partner with key stakeholders & business leaders to build a data & analytical capabilities roadmap that meets current business challenges and unlocks new opportunities
Lead a small Business Intelligence team through the development and lifecycle management of BI tools and assets, delivering innovative and high-quality solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization
Lead resolution of complex data or analytical issues across the team, ensuring timely escalation and data integrity, while supporting junior team members in troubleshooting
Facilitate and drive cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders, product owner, and development team to design, develop, deploy, and support AI & visual analytic tools
Partner with IT, data, and other BI organizations as a thought leader to elevate enterprise-wide data and analytics capabilities
Guide and empower team members through direct leadership, offering career coaching, development support, and clear direction to drive performance and growth
Champion adherence to design and delivery standards, reinforcing best practices across the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
Expert proficiency with multiple querying languages and database management systems
Expertise in data visualization tools and delivering GenAI solutions within BI tools. (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Power BI)
Expertise in statistical analysis and with statistical software to identify trends and patterns within datasets
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address intricate business challenges
Outstanding communication skills to present data insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Exceptional precision in validating & interpreting complex datasets, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and reasonability within the business context
Demonstrated ability to support strategic initiatives by conducting in-depth analyses, identifying growth opportunities, and aligning insights with team and organizational priorities
Proven leadership skills to mentor and guide teams and drive cross-functional collaboration
Proactively stays current with emerging technologies, platforms, and methodologies. Identifies and recommends opportunities to integrate innovative tools across the team
Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position
Preferred
Prior experience leading and managing teams is a plus
P+C Insurance experience is a plus
