Responsibilities
Deliver engaging in-person and online training, including demonstrations and hands-on exercises for industry professionals
Proctor certification exams as required
Develop curriculum and deliver training for internal SOLiD employees as needed for new hires and as new processes are rolled out
Other ad hoc duties as assigned by management
Provide feedback to the Training Manager for course updates
Create short-form online training videos to enhance the LMS platform
Assist with managing the LMS database, including registering, monitoring, and editing user accounts
Partner with sales teams to identify customers, and locations, for training sessions
Collaborate with the internal logistics team to manage training equipment shipping
Maintain and manage training equipment, including DAS components, test equipment, and associated hardware
Stay updated on DAS/Optical industry trends, carrier needs, and competitors’ products
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or RF Engineering or equivalent experience, with 2+ years of DAS systems deployment
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to groups
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, and experience using instructional media such as projectors and smart displays to facilitate dynamic learning experiences
Proficiency in RF engineering principles, including link budgets and transmission power calculations
Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to environments ranging from field sites to classrooms
Demonstrated ability to master new technical concepts quickly
Experience coordinating with sales, logistics, and customer teams to deliver training
Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Strong problem-solving skills, both technical and general
Preferred
Familiarity with SOLiD's ALLIANCE DAS solutions to enhance training delivery
Knowledge of competing DAS/Optical products and their capabilities to provide competitive insights
Experience with the Absorb e-learning platform
