Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, database engineers, Pega administrators, setting goals and driving performance
Develop and execute strategies for cloud adoption, optimization, migration, and cost management across AWS, Azure, and GCP
Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud systems and databases, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and disaster recovery
Manage Pega platform administration, including configuration, upgrades, performance monitoring, and recovery planning
Ensure compliance with best practices, security standards, and governance policies across all platforms
Drive automation, monitor KPIs, and implement FinOps practices to optimize efficiency and cost
Lead cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget, and communicate status to stakeholders
Collaborate with technology leaders, development teams, and business stakeholders to align solutions with strategic goals
Evaluate emerging technologies, provide thought leadership, and maintain vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs for cost-effective procurement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
7+ years in cloud engineering or related roles
3+ years managing technical teams
Expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with cloud databases (Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB)
Oracle administration
Pega platform operations
Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
CI/CD
Automation
Scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
Networking fundamentals
Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance
Experience with monitoring tools and DevOps practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and align technical solutions with business goals
Preferred
Cloud, database, and Pega certifications
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
