HP Indigo Operator I - 3rd Shift

Amsive has been a leader in print production for over 40 years, specializing in high-quality, end-to-end print and mail production. The HP Indigo Operator I will set up, operate, and monitor HP Indigo digital presses to produce high-quality prints in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Set up printing jobs by selecting appropriate settings, loading digital files, and configuring printing parameters according to job specifications
Operate print machine(s) independently for all types of jobs
Handle and prepare printing materials, including loading paper, adjusting settings, and managing inventory
Operators perform regular maintenance tasks on printing equipment, such as cleaning, calibrating, and troubleshooting technical issues
Consistently achieves expected throughput/efficiency
Able to run 100% mail well for critical clients
Provide proper adjustments to meet established hourly production standards
Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements
Reconciling/recording for all output
Accurately use job data capture to track time
Ensure that the printed materials meet quality standards by monitoring the printing process for consistency, color accuracy, and print quality
Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area
Effectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final output
Reviews schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to Supervisor
Follow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation procedures

Required

Seeking applicants with professional printing experience in a manufacturing setting
Work history of longevity, excellent attendance and responsibility
Experience working in a detail oriented and deadline driven environment
High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of USPS regulations or ability to learn them
Ability to read and understand job tickets, use powered material handling equipment and stack pallets
Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day and able to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred

HP indigo series 3 or 4 experience preferred
