Responsibilities

Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home
Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc
Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc
Meal preparation and feeding
Range of motion/exercises
Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
Medication reminders
Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration

Required

Must be a certified nursing assistant (CNA), personal care aide (PCA), or home health aide (HHA)
Ability to follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse
Experience providing personal care, household support, and companion care services
Ability to assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care
Ability to perform household support tasks including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making
Ability to prepare meals and assist with feeding
Ability to assist with range of motion exercises
Ability to assist with ambulation and transfers using mechanical lifting devices
Ability to provide medication reminders
Ability to check vital signs including temperature, pulse, and respiration
