Training and Development Specialist II

V2X Inc is seeking part-time on-call applicants to serve as United Action Partner role players/instructors in support of multinational training exercises at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center. Responsibilities

UAP applicants must be qualified to role play and provide instruction in one or more of the following roles: Ambassador/Undersecretary Level Advisor, Foreign Service Officer (FSO): Senior POL or POL-MIL Advisor (SECRET Required), USAID FSO: General Development Advisor/OFDA, DoJ/DoS/USAID: Rule of Law Advisor/Host Nation MoIA Advisor, DoJ/DoS/USAID: Public Diplomacy Advisor, DoJ/DEA/FBI Advisor, United Nations: United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Advisor (SECRET Required), CIV/CIA/DOE/DIA/MIL: All Sources Intelligence Analyst/Advisor/HUMINT asset (SECRET required), PSYOP/MISO Advisor (SECRET Required), Public Affairs Officer
UAPs actively participate in replicating Operational Environment Scenarios accomplishing training objectives that expose military leaders and units to situations, conditions and organizations that they may encounter in conflict areas of operations
Facilitate UAP preparation to support exercises
Realistically and effectively play roles consistent with biographies, scenarios and other Operational Environment (OE) exercise material
Coordinate with appropriate Government and Contractor POCs during the exercise and stay current with changing circumstances/situations and impact on their roles
Instruct & coach, collect relevant information for After Action Reviews and deliver written/oral products
Understand training objectives and contribute to their accomplishment as appropriate within their area of expertise and responsibility
Create or contribute to the creation/refinement of exercise products such as biographies, talking points briefings, an exercise synopsis, and assessment criteria which shall be used to gather input for the AAR and AAR presentation
Ability to understand and emulate the functions associated with the particular role applicant is playing e.g., Political Advisor, Ambassador
Possess experience and expertise in the military decision-making process (MDMP) and how a UAP inputs into that process
Ability to communicate effectively with exercise participants and 'counter-parts' to optimize training experience consistent with training objectives

Experience working with or directly for any of the following: U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) programs; Non-DoD Government organizations such as USAID; U.S. Department of State (DoS); International Organizations (IO), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in developing countries
Experience with US and NATO doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures, relevant to integration of civilian partners (CP) into military operations
Excellent oral and written communication skills; includes ability to instruct, teach and mentor
Ability to work in all seasons and weather conditions
Ability to work non-standard schedules based on mission requirements that include extended hours and/or weekends
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (WORD, EXCEL, and Power Point)
Ability to maintain Secret Security clearance
Related Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization

Preferred

Previous experience performing Operational Environment planning, instructing and/or role-playing exercise support work at JMRC as a Full Time or PTOC employee
