This role involves maintaining technical documentation, updating CAD drawings, and performing validation testing to ensure products meet regulatory standards and quality requirements.

Responsibilities
Update and maintain part and assembly drawings using SolidWorks
Ensure drawings comply with company standards and regulatory requirements
Create detailed manufacturing drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, and specifications
Contribute to engineering change orders and maintain revision control
Develop and update work instructions using Microsoft Office applications
Create clear, comprehensive documentation for manufacturing and quality processes
Maintain document control systems and ensure proper version management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation accuracy
Perform validation testing for new product designs and engineering changes
Execute test protocols and document results in accordance with established procedures
Collect, analyze, and report test data
Support design verification and validation activities
Identify and communicate potential design or process issues
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
Proficiency in SolidWorks for part and assembly modeling
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Understanding of technical drawings, GD&T, and engineering standards
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Strong troubleshooting skills
Preferred
Experience in the medical device industry
Familiarity with FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards
Knowledge of design validation and verification processes
Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
