Responsibilities
Engineer and optimize hybrid cloud infrastructure leveraging AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
Develop scalable, resilient, and secure solutions to support business growth
Lead infrastructure projects including migrations, consolidations, and new deployments
Build automation pipelines for provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance using PowerShell, Python, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools
Streamline system deployments, patching, and compliance
Continuously evaluate emerging tools and practices to improve system performance and efficiency
Oversee enterprise servers, virtualization (VMware), backup/recovery (Veeam), and endpoint management
Implement monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning using Zabbix, NinjaOne, Cloudflare, and cloud-native services
Manage identity and access across hybrid environments (Active Directory, Azure AD, Google Workspace)
Partner with the security team to harden infrastructure, enforce best practices, and support audits
Implement disaster recovery, business continuity, and backup strategies across multiple platforms
Maintain compliance with data protection and cybersecurity standards
Serve as a technical resource for cross-functional teams and mentor junior administrators
Partner with leadership to align infrastructure strategy with business objectives
Document standards, best practices, and architectural designs to support scaling and knowledge-sharing
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on experience in system administration, cloud platforms, or infrastructure engineering
Proven experience with hybrid IT environments, including cloud and on-premises systems
Strong experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch), Azure, and/or Google Cloud
VMware vSphere/ESXi administration; Veeam backup and disaster recovery
PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or ARM templates for provisioning and automation
Advanced administration of Windows Desktop, Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu, Debian), and macOS
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, routing, and load balancing
Zabbix, NinjaOne, Cloudflare, and cloud-native monitoring solutions
Awareness of endpoint security solutions including Microsoft Defender, KnowBe4, with a growing understanding of security best practices
Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Teams
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, NinjaOne
Comfortable creating technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and SOPs to support repeatable processes and team knowledge-sharing
Problem-solver with a passion for learning, innovation, and building scalable solutions
Flexibility to provide occasional evening, weekend, or on-call support to ensure continuity of business operations
Demonstrated eagerness to learn new technologies, certifications, and best practices in infrastructure and cloud
Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, engineers, and architects while contributing to a positive and growth-focused team culture
