Responsibilities
Deliver the annual sales plan for your market, including achievement of depletion and distribution goals along with personal KPIs developed with your manager
Manage the brand portfolio within your market, ensuring proper management of depletions and inventory by SKU (preventing out-of-stocks and planning for future growth)
Provide wholesalers and brand partners with clear and regular reporting around objectives such as distribution, depletions, shelf schematics, displays, pricing, menus, POS placement, promotions, and tastings
Working in-market most days, actively develop and manage relationships with wholesaler personnel, particularly Sales Managers and Sales Representatives
Participate with your manager in wholesaler planning and sales meetings; ensure the successful execution of sales programming in your market
Ensure implementation of price structures and shelf prices for all SKUs in your market
Activation management: develop and implement creative programs to activate consumer awareness and sales, e.g., sampling events, consumer and trade tastings, promotions, educational events, festivals, etc
Travel whenever appropriate to observe business conditions and to call on key buyers, managers, and distributor personnel
Qualification
Required
A minimum of three years' experience in the beverage alcohol industry, with knowledge and experience of the premium spirits category
Strong written, verbal, presentation, and public speaking skills
Proficient with Windows, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Ability to learn new computer programs quickly and efficiently
21 years of age or older
Reliable transportation to travel to surrounding markets and make in-market visits while transporting program materials (liquor, giveaways, etc.)
Ability to frequently stand, walk, and reach above shoulders, kneel, stoop or bend at the waist
Ability to use hands to finger, handle, touch objects or controls, and talk or hear
Ability to lift up to 50-100 pounds
