Responsibilities
The Welder/Metal Fabricator will be performing MIG Welding and Metal Fabrication on various types of metals to build and manufacture specialty equipment
Reading blueprints for fabrication of custom projects
MIG/TIG welding of stainless steel, aluminum, chrome, and/or sheet metal
Machine operation for fabrication of custom fit parts
Welding/Fabrication of coolant tanks, vacuums, pressure tanks, filtration systems, etc
Qualification
Required
2+ years of MIG/TIG Welding and Metal Fabrication experience
Experience working with Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Chrome, and Sheet Metal of varying thicknesses
Prior machine operation (i.e. press brakes, rollformers, and shears) and hand tools experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams to build equipment from prints
Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 100 pounds
A high school diploma or GED (or commitment to get GED) is required
Preferred
A Welding Certification or Associates Degree in Welding is preferred
