Mid LevelMedasource is seeking a Clinical Research Budget Analyst to support clinical research studies by managing budgeting and financial components. The role involves negotiating study budgets, reviewing contracts for compliance, and collaborating with research teams and external partners throughout the study lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Support and lead budget negotiations for clinical research studies
Analyze study protocols to identify procedures and associated costs
Update and adjust budgets based on protocol amendments
Support Medicare Coverage Analysis by determining which procedures are billable to insurance, Medicare, or study sponsors
Review and analyze clinical research contracts to ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory guidelines
Collaborate with sponsors and internal stakeholders to resolve budget and contract-related questions
Facilitate discussions to reach mutually agreeable budget and contract terms
Utilize Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS) to support study setup and ongoing maintenance
Assist with study builds within CTMS as needed
Partner with internal teams supporting CTMS activities
Qualification
Required
Clinical research experience
Experience with research budgeting and financial analysis
Experience supporting budget negotiations and contract review
Strong understanding of clinical research protocols and protocol amendments
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Advanced Excel skills
Preferred
Experience with CTMS platforms such as Clinical Conductor or OnCore (other CTMS experience considered)
Experience supporting study builds within a CTMS
Medicare Coverage Analysis experience strongly preferred
