Senior Analyst, Direct-to-Consumer Fulfillment

REI Co-op is dedicated to improving outdoor experiences and is seeking a Senior Analyst for Direct-to-Consumer Fulfillment. This role focuses on enhancing customer experience and efficiency in the omni-channel order fulfillment network by managing a substantial parcel budget and utilizing advanced analytics to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

Applies advanced analytics and modeling to optimize carrier utilization and support strategic supply chain initiatives
Manages financial planning activities including parcel budget creation, monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting, and accrual support in partnership with Finance
Conducts in-depth examination to evaluate cost, speed, and customer impact of fulfillment strategies, including rate shopping and contract negotiations
Designs, builds, and maintains scalable datasets and dashboards using SQL and Sigma to support real-time decision-making and performance tracking
Identifies insights, trends, root causes, and opportunities from complex data sets, and communicates strategic recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership
Develops tools and analytics to support Omni Channel team, aligning with business milestones and operational needs
Leverages customer insights to recommend fulfillment options, including sustainable shipping solutions
Collaborates effectively across divisions to support initiatives, launches, and continuous improvement efforts
Manages projects with clear scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
Models future initiatives to assess financial and operational impact, supporting long-term strategic planning

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
5+ years of experience in analytics, with an exceptional background in omni-channel retail, merchandising, or supply chain operations
Exceptional business acumen with the ability to interpret data, identify opportunities, and communicate strategic recommendations across all levels
Demonstrated success in building structure from ambiguity and driving alignment across cross-functional teams
Exceptional problem-solving skills using innovative thinking and sound judgment to support business growth
Proven ability to autonomously set goals, prioritize tasks, and manage projects to completion
Advanced SQL skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Sigma); exceptional Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
