Responsibilities
Responsible for management and contract performance of a program or elements of a program
Responsible for complex programs
Manages and directs assigned program, which includes defining and understanding program scope, managing overall schedules and budget in accordance with applicable contractual and L3Harris policies
Assures through the assigned program team that contract performance responsibility is properly delegated to performing organizations and outside suppliers
Develops and implements plans for follow-on production programs including proposal development, submittal, negotiation, and definitization
Provides guidance and assistance to the project team in meeting established schedules or to resolve complex technical or operations problems
Responsible for effectively utilizing functional organizations to integrate research and development, production, quality assurance, test, production support, procurement, contractual and financial data
Up to 25% business travel to other L3Harris and customer sites
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of relevant program management experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of related program management experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related program management experience
Preferred
Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
Demonstrated managerial level of leadership
Extensive knowledge of financial management and business development practices
Experience with DoD contract execution
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
