2+ years expADN Group is seeking a Cloud Application Support Analyst to provide Tier 2 application and cloud support for enterprise systems. This role focuses on cloud-based application support, monitoring, incident resolution, and automation, particularly with AWS and Python scripting.

Responsibilities
Triage, analyze, and resolve application support tickets within defined SLAs
Perform complex application and technical issue resolution, including:
Off-shift and weekend on-call support
Proactively identify recurring issues and document root causes and solutions
Monitor application availability and system performance
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
Enhance monitoring and alerting frameworks for proactive incident detection
Communicate effectively with business users and technical teams
Maintain clear documentation and follow-up communication on incidents
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree with 2–4 years of relevant application support experience
No degree, but technical certification with 6+ years (preferably 8+ years) of relevant application support experience
2–4+ years of experience in Application Support for cloud-based systems
Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts focused on availability and performance
Strong hands-on experience with EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53, RDS, DynamoDB (NoSQL), Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, ELB, EBS, ECS, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation
Strong experience with relational databases
Advanced SQL querying and reporting
Proven experience troubleshooting UI issues, API failures, and data flow and pipeline issues
Strong proficiency in Python
Working experience with PowerShell, SQL, JSON
Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent documentation and communication abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
Must be local to Chicago or Peoria, IL or willing to relocate at own expense
Must be onsite from Day 1
Preferred
Snowflake experience strongly preferred
