Responsibilities
You’ll drive the entire development lifecycle, from defining initial architectures and module interfaces to executing synthesis, place-and-route, and timing analysis
Contribute to major programs by researching customer proposals and selecting high-reliability components that meet rigorous performance standards
Participate in refining our FPGA organizational processes and stay ahead of the curve by integrating the latest industry technology trends
Work under limited direction to solve complex technical hurdles while collaborating with senior internal workgroups and external customers
Beyond technical execution, you’ll have the opportunity to lead junior engineers and sell your innovative concepts to project leadership
Qualification
Required
Mastery of FPGA engineering principles, including SystemVerilog, Vivado, and simulation tools like QuestaSim or ModelSim
A deep understanding of Ethernet Frame structures, protocols, and the integration of FPGAs within complex embedded systems
Proven ability to create comprehensive test plans, analyze performance results, and ensure functional criteria are met with precision
Extensive experience working in Linux environments and utilizing Git for robust version control and collaborative development
Strong verbal and written skills with a knack for clearly articulating technical issues, impacts, and corrective actions to diverse stakeholders
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
Requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred
Hands-on experience utilizing UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) to build scalable and reusable verification environments
Advanced familiarity with Xilinx Versal platforms or Microchip PolarFire FPGAs
Experience developing and 'selling' technical ideas to senior leadership
