Responsibilities

Move beyond simple tasks to own the full lifecycle—from initial architecture and module interface definition to synthesis and timing closure
Work alongside senior architects who will help you master high-level design, power utilization, and the nuances of complex embedded systems
Contribute to the research and analysis of customer proposals, directly influencing component selection and design feasibility for major programs
Be a voice in the room as we improve our FPGA organizational processes, standards, and development tools to stay ahead of the curve

Required

2-5 years of experience in FPGA engineering
Strong grasp of principles, theories, and the design lifecycle
Proficiency in SystemVerilog
Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools like Vivado and QuestaSim or ModelSim
Solid understanding of Ethernet Frame structures and protocols
Comfort working in a Linux environment
Utilizing Git for collaborative version control and code integrity
Ability to create simulation plans
Verify test results
Perform detailed timing and power analysis to ensure design reliability
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance
U.S. citizenship

Preferred

Experience with (or a strong desire to master) UVM (Universal Verification Methodology)
Exposure to Xilinx Versal or Microchip PolarFire FPGAs
Ability to 'sell' a concept or design idea to senior internal workgroups
Ability to clearly articulate technical risks and impacts
A knack for looking at the big picture—evaluating vendor capabilities and foundry technologies
A track record of recognizing technical issues early and independently developing corrective actions
