Designer
Framatome North America is a leader in shaping the future of nuclear energy in the U.S., and they are seeking a Designer to provide design and drafting support primarily for the Component Engineering department. The role involves a range of design tasks, from updating existing drawings to creating new equipment designs, while managing multiple projects over extended timelines.

Responsibilities
Provides design and drafting support for the Component Engineering department
Support other Framatome groups
Minor drawing updates for existing components
System design and equipment layouts
Blank page design of new equipment and tools
Manage multiple projects and priorities
Support meetings at customer sites
Perform plant walkdowns
Resolve fabrication issues
Load test verification
Qualification
Required
Design and drafting support experience for engineering departments
Experience with design, fabrication, and installation of pressure vessels, piping systems, and structural steel
Proficiency in 3D design using SolidWorks
Familiarity with product data management (PDM) systems
Experience with 2D design using AutoCAD
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Willingness to travel for meetings, plant walkdowns, and fabrication issue resolution
