Sustainability Communications Intern
Bridgestone Americas is seeking a motivated and dynamic Summer Intern to join their Sustainability Business & Office Team, focused on developing and implementing a comprehensive internal and external corporate sustainability communications plan. The role involves driving cohesive sustainability communications through visual storytelling, campaign execution, and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities
Create and support PowerPoint presentations for internal meetings, leadership updates, and cross-functional alignment sessions, ensuring consistency in messaging and design
Develop engaging, multi-channel content (social media, website, press releases, newsletters) in coordination with internal and external account managers
Design and coordinate a content calendar aligned with sustainability milestones and events
Assist with landscape research on industry best practices and competitor communications
Track the performance of campaigns and content across channels
Provide analysis and recommendations to improve content effectiveness and engagement
Analyze macro-trends for ongoing opportunities consideration
Qualification
Required
Have passion for sustainability and purpose-driven storytelling
Have a people-centric focus with ability to collaborate with all teammates across the organization
Have experience using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or PowerPoint
Exhibit strong initiative, work ethic and levels of enthusiasm
Demonstrate technical aptitude in major of study
Practice excellent communication and presentation skills
Are pursuing a degree Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Sustainability, Graphic Design, Business, or a related degree program and be actively enrolled in an accredited university degree program
Are sophomore-senior level standing with a GPA of at least 3.0
Are available to work 40 hours weekly in a 12-week internship assignment in person at the Nashville, TN office
