The role involves managing insurance operations, providing client services, and handling general office administration tasks within a small team environment.

Responsibilities

Completion and submission of insurance applications, conversions and policy changes
Monitor ongoing status of insurance applications
Arrange for any applicable medical exams necessary for underwriting
Provide status and account value information to clients for non-securities related accounts
Process non-securities related insurance service requests from clients (bank information changes, address changes, loan requests, beneficiary changes, etc.)
Participate actively in client retention
File new statements, account forms and other insurance/investment-related materials
Contact clients to set up follow-up meetings
Assist in meeting preparation via the creation of applicable reports and in-force illustrations
Handle meeting confirmations
Contact clients as needed regarding late payments and other non-securities related service issues
Consult with clients on the impact of modifications/changes to non-securities related products
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
Process correspondence and maintain current case files
Greeting clients
General office management: vendors, incoming/outgoing mail, technology, office supplies

Required

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be comfortable working in small office environment and working closely alongside advisor and other staff
Must be able to confidently and professionally communicate with affluent clients and business owners
Ability to travel to office location (West Hartford, CT)

Preferred

Strong knowledge of life and disability insurance, as well as annuities
Life and Health License (in good standing)
Administrative experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent business experience)
