Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by following post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location
Control access by verifying identification and credentials, managing visitor registration, issuing badges, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other building systems, report irregular activity, and help to deter unauthorized access and/or loss through presence and observation
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiate notifications, and document events in daily activity logs and incident reports
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas and perimeter points, and assist with escorts and/or controlled deliveries as needed
Qualification
Required
Have at least 6 months of security-related experience
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Have access control and/or badge experience
Have CPR and/or First Aid certification
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet
