Responsibilities
Using your in-depth knowledge of order management, warehouse operations, and safety you are “in the know” of every function within the warehouse and can jump in and support when needed
You direct the daily activities and know where to utilize your team to get the best results for the business
As a resource for both creation of and compliance with the Torani Operating Procedures in picking, shipping & receiving, and finished goods replenishment, you understand the operation intimately
You know that the best way to manage costs and keep customers happy is to do it right the first time
Verification processes and first-time quality are your mantras
You are leading by example throughout the warehouse by supporting and coaching team members to deliver our product to our customers, on time and accurately
You engage your team by providing them with accurate KPIs that help them be successful
You support the growth of your team by encouraging team members to support one another with learning skill blocks
You coach team members through their opportunities and praise to acknowledge their positive contributions
Your clear and concise communication skills allow you to support cross-functional partners; manufacturing, customer service and transportation, to ensure we deliver our products timely and error-free
You’re responsible for the shift-to-shift transitional communications that take place daily
You ensure that the team, including our temporary team members, are thoroughly trained and you welcome questions when they run into hiccups with systems or equipment
You are proficient in resolving first-level technological and systems issues and know how to troubleshoot before you escalate to IT
You look for opportunities to improve and elevate the warehouse workflows
You set the example by maintaining a safe and enjoyable work environment with zero safety incidents
You look at work through a lens of safety and care about the safety of all your fellow team members
You report out safety concerns in KPI meetings and drive your team’s success in making sure that food safety are personal safety are at top of mind
You are responsible for addressing and elevating safety concerns for resolution
You find ways to make the work feel good – celebrating small wins, sharing good vibes, and keeping things upbeat
Qualification
Required
3 years' experience within Warehouse operations
Experience with using KPIs to drive business and team directives
M–F, 1st Shift plus overtime as needed
Lift up to 50 lbs
Stand, walk, bend, twist for up to 8 hours
Preferred
Experience in the Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
